We have a wide variety of cable logging machines available. By having such a large variety of yarders, it gives us options when laying out each unit and we can place the best fit yarder and crew for each job. This ultimately gives us the highest efficiency, benefitting both the landowner and the environment.

We have a number of different ground logging machines that allow us to accomodate both small and large landowners. In order to keep up with demand and industry changes, our list of equipment evolves often so that we can best suit our customers and the current market.

While traditionally a unit is hand cut by a crew of timber cutters, sometimes there is a need for mechanized saws to harvest a unit and lay down the trees. Bighorn Logging sees the need for both techniques and is able to incorporate both with a crew of hand cutters, as well as several pieces of machinery.

Bighorn Logging specializes in road building. Our highly experienced road builders can do anything from road maintenance to construction of new roads. We can also provide grading, land clearing and construction of new logging roads.

We have the ability to manage several different sizes of timber tracts and can accommodate log marketing to the highest yield. We currently manage several hundred acres for different land owners throughout Oregon. We take great pride in preparing a timber harvest in order to maximize the highest yield for the land owner, while protecting the environment to the highest standards.

Bighorn Logging uses the timber cruising program "Super Ace." We additionally use high quality technology with GPS mapping to help aid in viewing your timber tract. We want to help you get the best view of your property so you can have an estimate of board feet volume and the total number of trees available for your harvest.
